He also served as a Computer Security Officer in the United States Air Force at the Air Force Flight Test Center in California from 1986 to 1989.

After his time with GeoCities, Robb spun off the GeoCities web development division and created Bold New World in 1996. He served on its Board of Directors and as its Chief Technology Officer from 1996 to 2002. In 2002, Robb created Ottenhoff Consulting with his partner Aasun Eble providing technology solutions to non-profits and small to medium businesses.  His diverse client roster includes such notables as MTV, Arianna Huffington, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, MGM Home Entertainment, University of Southern California and UC Santa Barbara.

While Robb has found his career in technology solutions, his passion for animals lives on through his participation with Zootopia.
