eco-Education

Eco-Education teaches people about ecology and the environment.  Through our eco-education curriculum, participants will learn about environmental issues, environmental impacts and the use of herbicides and pesticides, as well as endangered species and the impact on the environment.

Participants will also learn about eco-vocabulary with terms and topics such as:

  • Recycle vs. trash
  • The food chain
  • What does it mean when a species is threatened? Endangered?
  • Reduce, Recycle, Reuse and Rot
  • What is Sustainability?
  • What is Bio degrading?
  • Green house gases/Global Warming
  • What is a Biological Footprint?
  • What are Alternate Energy Sources?
  • What is Composting?
  • Organic and local farming
  • Green living
  • Making responsible environmental choices
